Food Challenge Day Four

Breakfast for everyone today was fresh, local strawberries.  Bowls of them.  Ahhh...

For lunch we had instant noodle stir-fry, a fast meal around here.


Place 3 packages of Ramen (or some brand) of instant noodles in a bowl and cover with hot water.  Don't use the seasoning packets!  Just throw them out or something.  In the meantime, saute your favourite veggies and seasonings (we used onions, tomato, red and yellow pepper, Greek seasoning spice and spinach). Drain your noodles, combine the ingredients and serve.

For supper I tried a new recipe, Tuna Pockets.  Biscuit dough filled with cheesy tuna mixture and then sealed as a pocket and baked.  I make a decent baking powder biscuit, but somehow these didn't quite turn out how I wanted them to.  Maybe we'll try again some time, so far I only have one decent canned tuna recipe and I wish I had more.
