As soon as the baby is born

Some cheerful things to think about...

As soon as the baby is born, someone *cough cough* will have to put the curtains on the livingroom window again so I can nurse.  Yay!

As soon as the baby is born, I can stop referring to her as 'the baby' and start using her real name.

As soon as the baby is born, I can stop restraining Samuel from touching her neatly folded clothes and clean basinette, because as soon as she's born, it won't be tidy again for months.

As soon as the baby is born, my parents come down to see us, and that means my mother will cook for me for two weeks.  Two weeks of not cooking is going to be glorious.

As soon as the baby is born, I'll have new things to worry about instead of worrying about the same old things all the time.

As soon as the baby is born, my milk will come in, which is going to make nursing two children an awful lot more pleasant.

As soon as the baby is born, all those things that are waiting 'until the baby is born' can get done.

As soon as the baby is born I get to meet her.

Aww, I love this...my favourite used to be, as soon as the baby is born I can pick something off the ground and not feel I have to do more jobs at that level to make it worth my while!! And of course, as soon as the baby is born you'll be smitten!!! Best of luck xx
