I meant to write a little Easter Sunday post about what we ended up giving Samuel!  But then I got tired, and drank a lot of tea, and went to bed.  So here you go - one day late.

So...he's one.  No chocolate.  What do you give a one year old that isn't edible, is small enough to pack in already-overflowing suitcases, and isn't a stuffed animal?  Well, I bought one of these papier mache eggs.

It isn't this one, but this is close enough.  And then we filled it.  First one of these:

A little tiny music box with a bunny on it that plays 'Singing in the Rain'.  Samuel adores it.  Then one of these:

A little handsewn brown felt bunny.  And of course:

Because I like glittery Easter stickers!  And then David bought him a video on sale to watch when we get home:

He's still pretty young for all of this, so we kept it simple.  Everything got hidden under a pillow, but he still loved it.  Next year we may have to get more creative!
