Cake!

Here it is, my As-Homemade-As-You-Want-It-To-Be Ice Cream Sandwich Birthday Cake.

You need:
24 ice cream sandwiches
about 4 cups of whipped cream
about 1 cup each of chocolate sauce and caramel sauce
whatever decorations you would like to use

Layer 12 ice cream sandwiches.  Cover with half of the whipped cream and half of each sauce.  Repeat.  Decorate the top however you like.

This is a fantastic cake to make in a very short amount of time because YOU decide how home made you want it to be.  You can go practically pre-made and use cool whip, bottled sauces and store bought ice cream sandwiches, or you can make it more homemade and whip your own cream, make your own sauce or even make your own ice cream and cookies to put together ice cream sandwiches!  Your choice!  Fantastic variations include a layer of strawberries or sliced banana, covering the top with skor bits, or using cookie dough ice cream.  Mmmmm.
