I mentioned to David today that it seems as though our lives happen in short bursts of action followed by long periods of waiting. Or at least that's how our journey to ordination seems to be going. After the exciting news from Tuesday's meeting arrived on Wednesday I printed off all of the forms we needed to fill out. David chose someone for his personal reference and we delivered the reference forms to him. Then we officially registered as a correspondance student online and arranged to have David's transcripts sent to the educational division. While we were in the midst of all of this we were contacted by our old college; they wanted to let David know that according to their records they owed him $125.00, and would he like that as a check? What an amazing 'coincidence', as our first course payment is $130.00 and we didn't have that money. Ah, but God did.
Isn't it awesome to think that two years ago when we sadly and reluctantly withdrew from college God knew what we would choose to do and saved that money, hid it out of sight so that the administration and David both didn't find it until just recently, letting us know today that it was waiting there for us to use, to pay for the first course? Awesome.
