It's been so long since I did a Quick Takes post, and I do have lots of tidbits of information, so here we go...
1. If you look on the homepage of the blog you'll see that there are tabs across the green band just under the quotation. The 'About Us' tab finally has an updated family photo of us now, complete with Clara, an older Samuel, and the words 'one child' changed to 'two children'. Ah, that's better! Let's play a fun game, it's called 'what's photoshopped in this photo?' I'll think of a prize if you can guess what part of the picture is NOT actually there. Or isn't there that should be, though that might be harder. Anyway...and go! (Here it is, so you don't have to switch pages. And I'll give you a hint, it isn't something as mundane as red eye or anything.)
2. Also on that band is a new page - Currently Reading. I've been trying to get some sort of list with photos of what we're reading (especially children's books, but my stuff, too) for ages and ages. This is the best I can come up with right now. Because...
Do what you can. And I did.
3. So, some of my readers know that David and I were being considered for a church. Seriously considered. Well, that church ended up choosing another pastor and we're all upset about it. Ok, I'm all upset about it. David is being annoyingly fine and pleasant about the whole thing.
4. Oh my heavens to Betsy - my friend Amanda gave me seriously the easiest and most amazing cookie recipe, like, ever. 1 cup of peanut butter, 1 cup white sugar, 1 egg. Mix, ball up, smoosh with fork, bake at 350 until done. I lowered the sugar to 1/2 cup because I can't tell the difference and don't like to use a lot of sugar. It's fantastic. I mean it, they might be the best peanut butter cookies I have ever eaten.
5. So, Clara seems to certainly be teething. This is n.o.t. n.i.c.e. at ALL. But I can feel two weeny little teeth pushing up under her gums. Just lumps right now, but hopefully soon to be actual real teeth. If the drool doesn't drown us all first.
7. And, very exciting news over here, I have officially run enough to have dropped a pants size! I'm really excited. I didn't start running to lose weight, but this is a nice side benefit.
Now, go check out Jen for more Seven Quick Takes.

okay. you're the second person to mention that recipe -- totally trying it today.
AND -- I AM WITH YOU ON THE BABY CLOTHING.
bleh.
Yes. I am trying to sort and organize baby fall/winter clothes and toddler clothes and four-year-old's clothes and I think there might be something to say for nudism. If we didn't live in Canada. Also, I was hoping twins wouldn't need twice as many clothes as one baby but sadly it appears they do.
