It's been quite some time since I did a ministry update post, and I'm not even sure at this point what I have to say that's new...but here goes.
1. David finished section 1 (15 pages) of the three sectioned course he's working on. He's probably about 1/3 done section 2 and 1/2 done section 3. It would be really great if we could get this all done in the next week.
2. He's also sucked it up and gone ahead and written his driver's exam. We knew he'd need his license for most pastoring positions, but still, it cost almost $100.
3. He's still working as the communion co-ordinator at our church, but that has slowed down in the past few months as Summer comes and communion is less frequent.
4. There haven't been any further offers to do pulpit supply. We figured this would be the case.
5. We recently got our ministry resume updated, including posing for a new family photo. Our friend Amanda then edited it for us, so it looks very nice, I think.
6. District conferences are this month, but with work schedules being what they are, we are not attending any of them. One day, maybe.
