Under $4 Tuna Casserole

A friend of mine was telling me about this recipe she used for Kraft Dinner casserole.  It was light on ingredients (and therefore on cost) and consisted of a prepared box of KD, a can of tomato soup and cooked ground beef.  We don't eat a lot of canned soup, but we do eat a fair amount of Kraft Dinner (did I mention the cheapness?) and so I was intrigued.

I took her recipe and ran with it, and this is the result - a tuna casserole.

1 box Kraft Dinner.  I used the white cheddar kind, and actually it isn't even 'real' Kraft Dinner, but the PC deluxe brand.
2 cups frozen mixed veggies, thawed and drained.
2 tins flaked tuna packed in water, drained.
Ground pepper and parmesan cheese.

Prepare the KD, but don't add the butter and put in a bit more milk to make it 'saucier'.  Crumble up the drained tuna, and then mix together everything.  Top with pepper and cheese.

I'm estimating that the tuna cost about 89 cents a can, the noodles about $1, the veggies maybe 50 cents and the milk and cheese negligible.  So, what is that, $3.28?
