In 2008, David and I bought a sofa. It was, at the time, a pretty good buy for us for several reasons, but we never really liked it. The pull-out bed section was uncomfortable, it was unwashable, difficult to vacuum and the back was v. short. But it was better than no sofa, and so we kept it.

Two days ago, though, friends of ours passed on one of the best gifts they could have handed our way - a 'new-to-us' loveseat. It fits in our tiny livingroom, is very comfortable to sit on, and will probably serve us for the next four years without any trouble.
