The ultimate lazy mother's healthy breakfast - shakes! My blender has been getting such a workout the past few days, I tell you. Throw all the fruit you have into it, especially if you have a banana lover in the family because adding a banana seems to completely cover up the flavour of almost anything else. Add milk and go to town. Or almond milk.
I've kicked it up a notch and now toss in a few Tbsp of wheat germ as well. And a Tbsp of a good quality oil probably wouldn't hurt things either.
There you go. Dessert for breakfast in this house!
But my shakes will be the only thing shaking around here today. I'm taking a rest day and doing as little of anything as I possibly can. Samuel and I are packing a lunch and going to play group, coming home to nap, and eating leftovers for supper. There wil be NO lifting, NO spicy foods, NO anything. Instead, I will drink a lot of water, put my feet up and wait for David to get home. My biggest plan for the day is to try and avoid squatting accidentally. It's the only position that really feels comfortable and I find myself getting into it way too often. Must remain uncomfortably pregnant for another nine days.
