40 weeks and 3 days. Le bebe est not here.
Wandering around an antique shop, of all places, scored me a very cute little summer dress that I can nurse in for $5. It's been drafted into service as my 'something to bring to the hospital' outfit, thankfully replacing David's sweatpants and a t-shirt, which previously held that distinguished position in my overnight bag.
We ate delicious spinach and chicken alfredo pizza for supper. And Haagan Daas lemon sorbet for dessert. Celebrating nothing in particular.
More accupressure. More contractions. More raspberry leaf tea. More opportunities to be a calm, prayerful mother slipping through my clenched fists.
Sweet Samuel complaining that his 'tummy hurt' had me rummaging for the gripe water. 2 tsp and 30 minutes later he was his happy self again. If only all problems were that easy to fix.
Ok, back to knitting...
