Ministry Update For Mid-March

1.  Yesterday was David's District Board of Ministerial Development (DBMD) meeting, in which he gets interviewed and, theoretically, has his student level license renewed for another year.  There was a lot of fuss in getting this meeting set up this time because, although the District insisted they sent us an email, we never received one, and so our paperwork was late!  But all's well that ends well.

2.  Yesterday we also sent off our third resume of the hiring season.  Our resume is looking a-MAZing, I think, but we haven't had any bites yet.  We're still hoping that God has a plan for us this Summer, but if it doesn't involve ministry we're not sure what that plan might be!

3.  David preached last weekend as a guest speaker at one church, and has another sermon lined up at a different church this coming Sunday, bringing his total guest preacher dates up to seven, I believe!  This is great news for us!  The more opportunities he can get to practice, the better we'll look to prospective boards.

I wish there was more to report, but we're just keeping on keeping on.
