I tried these tonight, have you heard of them? They're called 'Two Ingredient Cupcakes'.
1 box of chocolate pudding made up with milk. (about 2 cups of milk to pudding mix ratio)
1 box of chocolate cake mix.
Stir your pudding into your cake mix. Then add chocolate chips. I just liberally sprinkled but it was maybe a Tbsp per cupcake?
Bake with box directions. Usually about 350 or so until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool and frost.
I made these as a trial run for cupcakes/cake for Samuel's birthday. Last year we made ice cream cake, which was a huge hit with a one year old, but I wanted something different and a bit more grown-up for him this year. At the same time, I am trying my hardest to realize my limitations at this point in my life. I'm sore and pregnant, I'm expecting baby #2 a month after Samuel's second birthday, I'm still working, and will be working up until April 13th, which only gives me a few weeks until our little girl shows up. Previously, I would have freaked out if I couldn't provide my son with an organic, beautiful, practially-professional-grade masterpiece, but not this year. This year I'm grateful that we can give Samuel a cake he'll love and leave it at that.
Verdict? They were incredibly rich and sugary and actually both David and I had a hard time even eating one, which is going to make the next ten pretty difficult! I think we should keep looking...any great cupcake recipes out there?

If you're up for making them from scratch (which is surprisingly simple), I've got a killer recipe. Email me and I'll tell you.
Yes, it's a secret recipe.
I know this isn't a very profound comment, but doesn't the addition of chocolate chips make this a three-ingredient recipe?
It's a good thing I wasn't there because I probably could have finished off the other ten for you! :P
