1) If you haven't hustled over to check it out yet, I'm spending a fair amount of time these days over at http://www.thehomemadeyear.blogspot.com/. It isn't meant to replace this fair old dame of mine, but simply a place to record a year's worth of homemade gifts. However, if you miss me here, you may find me there.
2) Braxton Hicks contractions are A) Not fun and B) Not painless. Not at all. Plus I have those shooting round ligament pains that all pregnant women seem to complain about. And my arms and hands keep falling asleep and then breaking out in pins and needles. And my neck has a crick in it and I keep cutting off my circulation when I sleep on my back. And my hips are creaky. Geez, Louise, I'm falling apart!
3) I am becoming a BIG convert to Earth Mama Angel Baby (worst company name ever) heartburn tea. All herbal, all organic, smells nice, tastes nice, and it works. Well, it works on mild heartburn. The big stuff requires a lot of Tums and the tea and some crackers and an hour to calm down again, but the little bits of discomfort throughout the day can be managed with just the tea. I tell you, this stuff is amazing.
