my nightmares may/may not be caused by the fan.

I've been having the craziest nightmares the last few nights.  And somehow, perhaps in my nightmare-induced sleepiness, I decided a few days ago that what was causing them was the fan.  You see, I like a breeze to blow over me while I sleep.  It's crazy, really, but I prefer the ambient temperature of the room to be quite chilly and pile on blankets to make a cozy little nest.  Except that I convinced myself that the fan was causing the nightmares, so now I'm lying in bed, wishing that an indirect breeze would appear in my room without my turning on said fan.  This breeze will never happen.  It's a fan/Amy showdown.

Two days ago, you see, I had a nightmare-free sleep.  I woke up so refreshed and realized that I had forgotten to turn on the fan the night before.  Then last night the fan was on, and again, nightmares.  Tonight will be the deciding factor in this mildly insane and completely unscientific study.  Does my fan cause nightmares?  Stay tuned.

And start sending those series requests...if I didn't have commentators, why, who would I write for?
