Making popsicles

It didn't take long for Samuel to detest 'being fed' and start to favour 'doing it himself'.  Messy, but fine, except that what do I do with all of the pureed fruit in the freezer?  Not to mention those frozen raspberries that it turned out he didn't like?  Why, make pureed popsicles, of course!

I always take a look at the discount produce racks for bags of apples almost past their prime.  If you're willing to go home that day and make applesauce with them it is well worth it - the savings can be substantial.
I used about a cup and a half of raspberries, a fully Babycube of homemade applesauce, and a dash of water.

The Baby Bullet was an early birthday present from my parents, and the popsicle rack was a quick buy at the Dollar Store.
It looked a bit frothy but took maybe a minute to blend thoroughly.

And there we have it.  Aren't they pretty?
