The last meeting and the first class

A quick little ministry news update.  David's last form was submitted yesterday (it took quite some time to fill out) and, as far as we're aware, that's all the paperwork that's necessary for now.  His next meeting is tomorrow, this time with the District Board of Ministerial Development (DBMD), and we're excited about that being taken care of because once he's had the meeting that will be the last one until his courses are finished.  And speaking of courses, today we registered online for the first one, a homiletics (preaching) course.  We also ordered his first round of textbooks and both they and the course work will be arriving in the mail probably sometime next week.  The course is listed as taking a student between 70 and 100 hours of independent work to finish, and involves a practical preaching evaluation.

And some Samuel news, he's doing very well.  It's not easy to keep him from climbing on things, but his bones seem less 'creaky' and I think he's feeling much better - no Advil necessary today.

Thank you for your prayers.  I promise a prayer post of my own soon.
